Our commitment to justice, access, and dignity for all youth
Reset & Rise is designed with and for justice-involved youth who have historically been marginalized, over-policed, and under-resourced. We recognize that the justice system disproportionately impacts Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and other youth of color.
This platform exists to support healing and autonomy, not to perpetuate surveillance, control, or punishment. We are committed to equity, cultural responsiveness, and centering the voices of those most impacted.
Current Status: Platform is available in English
In Development: Spanish language support
Future Plans: Additional languages based on community needs
We are actively working to expand language accessibility and welcome feedback from youth and families about language needs in their communities.
Youth with disabilities can request specific accommodations by contacting their facilitator or program administrator. We are committed to universal design and continuous improvement.
This platform was designed WITH youth, not FOR youth. Young people with lived experience in the justice system guided every design decision.
We recognize that justice-involved youth have high rates of trauma exposure. Our design prioritizes safety, choice, predictability, and dignity in every interaction.
We explicitly reject risk assessment tools, predictive analytics, surveillance features, and any technology that extends carceral control into digital spaces.
We recognize that individual healing happens in community context. Our platform connects youth to supportive relationships and community resources.
We acknowledge that systemic racism and economic inequality shape who enters the justice system and what resources are available for support. This platform cannot solve those structural problems, but we can:
If you have feedback about how this platform could better serve youth from your community, or if you've experienced barriers to access, please reach out. We are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Contact your facilitator or program administrator to share feedback directly.
We are accountable to the youth we serve, not to systems of control. Our work is guided by principles of abolition, healing justice, and youth liberation. We will continue to listen, learn, and evolve.
